I just bought Splinter Cell Blacklist on steam not knowing you have to install Uplay to play. When I launch from steam withouth uplay running, it will launch the uplay client first and then the game. But if you launch from uplay without steam running, it will launch the steam first then the game.

Games downloaded from steam are for that steam account only. DRM doesnt even give you the installer to the games without installing from steam directly. The only way to receive games via usb is cracked copies of games which include the installers.You basically don’t, unless the game in question is available on GOG (which is DRM-free) or Humble Bundle (with the caveat that not all games on Humble are available in a DRM-free form).
